Alan Boath Obituary, Death – Alan Booth, who had been a member of the club for many years and had served as its Head Steward in the past, passed away the previous week. When the club found out that Booth had passed away, it was devastated. Alan was a fervent supporter of the squad, and he devoted a considerable portion of his life to ensuring
that it was successful. Alan’s career as a part of the Brechin City family for a lengthy amount of time, in addition to his job as a coach at the Brechin Boys Club, earned him widespread recognition throughout the community.
A moment of silence will be held at the conclusion of Saturday’s match against Livingston, which will be followed by
one minute of standing ovation. During this terrible time, we are keeping Alan’s family in our thoughts and prayers. We are deeply disappointed to have learned that Alan was an upstanding citizen who spent his entire life to supporting Brechin City FC, the football club that he most admired. Dear friend, may you rest in peace knowing that you will be greatly missed by all of us who called you a friend.
