Alan Pound Car Accident, Texas: I recently found out that our friend Alan Pound, in addition to everyone else’s friend Ron McEnturffin, passed away in a tragic car accident as they were leaving a car show, which he looked forward to attending every year with great enthusiasm. I am devastated to hear this news.
Alan was not only an incredible vehicle constructor but also a wonderful person who possessed such a friendly and outgoing attitude that he was able to make friends with everyone he came in contact with. He was able to make friends with everyone he came in contact with because of his warm and outgoing nature. Alan took a beautiful 1969 Camaro that he had built for a customer to the Supernationals many years ago, and he won the most prestigious award there, which was called Best of Show.
It was a remarkable piece of machinery that had a great deal of attention to detail. His works have not only been recognized with awards at the most prestigious levels of competition in which they have been entered, but they have also been published in a number of the most renowned automotive periodicals. During the upcoming weeks, I will be thinking about you, Lura Pound, and your families, and I will give you and them my best wishes for serenity and strength.
I will also send these wishes to you and Lura Pound. Both Margret and I were taken aback by the way in which the two of you communicated with one another, which I’m sure is already common knowledge to you, Lura. You have our love and warmest wishes at this time. We are beyond words sad, you left us far too soon! Reggie N Margret.
