Audrey Simmelink Obituary, Death – We were shocked and saddened to learn that Audrey Simmelink, one of our earliest and longest-standing frequent customers, had gone away this Spring at the age of 95. It was in 1998 when I arrived to this area for the summer to clean windows and by chance knocked on Audrey’s door that I was introduced to her for the first time. She was so kind and supportive, and whenever I needed work, she was always eager to help find me something to do that she needed help with, and she always referred her friends and neighbors to me.
For example, Audrey had me do odd end jobs such as painting her car port, cleaning her windows, and hanging her Christmas lights. Whatever she could find to help out a new start up like me. Since we started doing this over 20 years ago, we have now cleaned her windows on a monthly basis. Always, whenever I saw her, I would tell her, “You have the cleanest windows in town. Anyone who knew Audrey is aware that she had a passion for exploring other parts of the world, that she was an accomplished tennis player.
that she adored her Scottie dogs (I took my girls over to visit and play with them one time around the year 2002, and they still remember that), that she was a generous philanthropist, and that she was an outstanding person in general. It is because to the support of wonderful clients like Audrey that we have been able to expand our company and that it continues to be successful even now. We’ll never forget Audrey, along with all of those early customers who supported us during our fledgling years in business more than two decades ago. We are going to miss you, Audrey.
