Bradley Jordan Obituary, Death – It is currently being determined whether or not a fatal car accident that occurred on Sunday evening and involved two vehicles was a contributing factor in the passing of a male victim from Sturgeon Bay who was 23 years old and was injured in the incident. The investigation into this matter is ongoing. An accident that had taken place at the intersection of State Highway 57 and County Highway E was responded to by emergency personnel from the Door County Sheriff’s Department, the Baileys Harbor First Responders.
the Door County Emergency Services, the Baileys Harbor Fire Department, and the Baileys Harbor Constable at approximately 5:40 p.m. on Sunday evening. In the collision that took place earlier, there were a total of two vehicles involved. The preliminary findings of the inquiry indicate that James Schorer, a resident of Baileys Harbor who is 83 years old, was driving his vehicle on State Highway 57 in the direction of northbound travel when he was involved in a collision with a motorbike that was traveling on County Highway E in the direction of southbound travel.
The investigation is still going on at this time. The collision left the motorcyclist, later identified as Bradley Jordan, 23, from Sturgeon Bay, with significant injuries. He was sent to the Door County Medical Center for treatment, but tragically, he did not make it through his time there and passed away not long after his arrival. Because of the incident that they helped investigate, the Traffic Reconstruction Unit of the Wisconsin State Patrol had to close down State Highway 57 for close to four hours. This was because of the consequences of the incident. This action was taken as a direct consequence of the crash, the investigation of which they assisted.
