Brian Anderson Obituary, Salt Lake City, UT, 61 Year Old Man Has Passed Away

Brian Anderson Obituary, Death – Brian James Anderson, age 61, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, son and friend to all, passed away suddenly July 17, 2023 at his home in Cedar Hills, Utah upon arriving home from a 10 day vacation to Oceanside, CA. Born March 22, 1962 in Salt Lake City, UT to Clayton Francis Anderson and Lucille Ungricht Anderson. He was the youngest of three children. He married Kimberly Lambert in 1984 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They were blessed with three sons, Brandon, Bryce and Brett, they later divorced in 1992.

Brian met his sweet wife Laila Hubell at a church dance on 7/7/07, their lucky day. She had and two sons Kory and Michael Hubbell. They were married August 8, 2009 and began their journey together. They found their love for traveling. Bear Lake Utah, Oceanside California, and especially Hawaii were some of their favorite destinations. They also loved to play cards with friends and go out to eat at Brian’s favorite restaurants: Italian Village, Spaghetti Factory, and Red Lobster. Laila loved Brian dearly and she brought a lot of joy and enrichment to his life. Brian became an Eagle Scout at a very early age.

He was a Boy Scout leader. He attended Bingham High School class of 1980. He was the VICA class President, and traveled with them to Washington D.C. He served an LDS mission to Italy, an Italianspeaking mission. “BON APPETITO” was his favorite saying at the beginning of every meal. He attended BYU, BYU Hawaii, and Utah State University. He found his calling in the family excavation business, now Brian Anderson Excavating Inc. He loved attending Century Equipment’s annual Backhoe Rodeo, where he always brought home a belt buckle.
