Delores Gonzalez Obituary, Death – If you attended Sanger High School, it is likely that you were acquainted with Delores. She served the school for a number of years as the registrar. Those who attended St. Mary’s are likely to recall that she directed the children’s choir there. She was such a joy to be around, and a loyal friend to many people, most
notably Mr. Peoples. It is with deep regret that I learned of her passing. She deserves to be illuminated by the everlasting light of God. I hope and pray that she encounters a lot of welcoming smiles. My prayers are with her and her family at this time. My deepest condolences go out to Delores Gonzalez’s loved ones and friends. She was very generous with her family, friends, and the community as a whole. She will be sorely missed by everyone. Liz,
I want to thank you for bringing up the fact that she directed the Children’s Choir at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Sanger. What a wonderful gift she bestowed upon us children by devoting her time and patience to the instruction and formation of our Catholic faith via the medium of music. It wasn’t until I was older, had children of my own, and started educating them about their ancestors that I learned about the her family.
