Dorothy Krull Obituary, Death – Dorothy Krull’s memory is honoured here. At the age of ninety, Dorothy M. Krull, a resident of Bonduel, passed away at the Renaissance in Appleton on July 9, 2023. She was the daughter of Elmer and Viola (Drage) Schneider, who both passed away, and was born on May 10th, 1933. Dorothy received her high school diploma from Bonduel in the year 1951. Jack Krull, who had been her high school sweetheart, became her husband on
October 16, 1954. He passed away on February 15, 2012, three days before she did. On the Krull farmhouse, Dorothy and Jack raised their family while also working the land as farmers. Dorothy was an active member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bonduel for her entire life. She served as a volunteer in the church office and at the Bethesda Thrift Store, participated in the handbell choir, and was a former board member of the L.W.M.L. District Board. Dorothy was a
longtime member of the church. She was involved with the Nichols Homemakers Club, North Star 4-H, the Fox Valley Guernsey Association, and served on a number of county and municipal committees in addition to being a member of those organisations. Dorothy found great satisfaction in going on adventures with Jack, sewing, tending to her garden, and watching her grandchildren compete in various sports. She gained a lot of notoriety in the community for the “chocolate chip chewies” that she baked for her children and grandchildren. Her children, Tom (Judy) Krull, Nancy (Jim), and Jeff Courchaine, are the ones who will carry on her legacy.
