Elijah Crawford Obituary, Death – It has been established that the 82nd Airborne Division All American Chorus from Fort Liberty will be performing on this season of “America’s Got Talent,” and as a result, we are now able to watch the performance and find out when it will take place. On Friday, in advance of the television show that would take place on Tuesday, July 11, NBC uploaded what it called “Early Release” footage to its social media sites, which featured an appearance by the official choir of the 82nd Airborne Division.
The members of the chorus admitted that they had auditioned for the performance quite some time ago but were otherwise silent about the experience. The video that was uploaded to YouTube on Friday includes a cappella performances of “My Girl” by The Temptations and the choir singing the All the Way Airborne yell tune. Both of these performances can be found in the video. You can view the performance by clicking on the link below.
Marcus Gilbert, the group’s Staff Sergeant, provides a frank response to the question posed by Judge Simon Cowell regarding the group’s “big dream in coming on the show” by stating, “We are here to win. Gilbert mentioned that Spc. Elijah Crawford had gone away shortly before the audition, and the band made sure to pay tribute to him throughout their performance. Gilbert made the following remark before the performance: “We are dedicating this performance to him and all the soldiers who have gone before him.”
Spc. Roldan, whose 82nd Airborne Division Rock Band we had previously seen perform during the celebration for the 4th of July at the Fort, took the lead for the ensemble as they began playing “My Girl.” After becoming internet sensations with their cover of “My Girl,” the band was invited to perform on the “Kelly Clarkson Show” shortly thereafter.
