Eric Reese Obituary, Death – According to the police, a 17-year-old Statesboro resident was arrested on murder charges following the fatal shooting of a 46-year-old male on Friday night in the Park Place Apartments. According to a news release issued by the Statesboro Police Department on Saturday morning, the deceased has been identified as Eric Alexander Reese, a resident of Park Place. On Saturday morning, police announced they had located and detained Lester Parrish, who lived in the University Pointe Apartments on Harvey Drive, at the Avenue at Southern on Georgia Avenue. Parrish was charged with murder, aggravated assault, and handgun possession.
