Hershell Little Obituary, Death – Hershell “Bobo” Franklin Little, a cherished husband, beloved father, respected community member, and dedicated farmer, peacefully passed away on July 20, 2023, at the age of 80, in his Clanton, Alabama residence, surrounded by the love and warmth of his adoring family. Born on August 10, 1942, in Autaugaville, Alabama, Bobo was the son of the late Otis Franklin Little and the late Gertrude Bell Little. His legacy in the community will be remembered for generations to come. Bobo’s accomplishments in life were many and his impact on the local agricultural community was profound. He was the former owner of Gray & Sons Implement Company, where he served his customers with a kind smile and unwavering dedication.

Beyond his business endeavors, Bobo was an esteemed cattle farmer, fostering a love for the land and livestock that was truly inspiring. His influence extended well beyond his own farm as he became an Honorary member and Board member of the Chilton County Cattlemen’s Association, leaving an indelible mark on the region’s ranching industry. Moreover, he contributed greatly to the Alabama Farm Equipment Association, serving on the Board of Directors and holding the prestigious position of Former President. Throughout his life, Bobo was supported by his loving wife of 60 years, Glenda Little, who stood by his side through thick and thin. Together, they created a home filled with love and warmth for their children and grandchildren, leaving behind a legacy of devotion and familial unity.

Bobo is survived by his children: his daughter Kim (Gerald) Arrington and his son Tim (Jennifer) Little. He was a cherished grandfather to grandsons Mitch (Brittany) Arrington, Will (Kristin) Arrington, and Jody (CeCe) Little, as well as a beloved grandfather to granddaughter Jordan Wade. Additionally, his great-grandson Silas Arrington brought immense joy and laughter into his later years. Bobo is now reunited with loved ones who have gone before him, including his father, Otis Franklin Little, his mother, Gertrude Bell Little, his brother Donnie Little, his sister Joyce Popwell, and his sister Jeanette Mims. Their memories will forever be treasured in the hearts of those who knew and loved them. Friends and family will gather to pay their respects at the Martin Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, July 22, 2023, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. A touching Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 am, with Rev. Tony Hughes officiating, celebrating Bobo’s life and legacy.

Bobo’s final resting place will be in the serene grounds of Martin Memorial Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama, where he will rest peacefully, forever surrounded by the beauty of the land he cherished so deeply. Pallbearers, who will carry Bobo to his final resting place, will be Mitch Arrington, Will Arrington, Jody Little, Jason Staggs, Allen Wyatt, Jon Mims, Derrick Minor, and Philip Martin. Their support represents the love and admiration felt by all who were fortunate to know him.
