Jeff Holbrook Obituary, Death – Our Love, our life, our all. How do I even begin to utter the words while I am still expecting for him to come around the bend and hold me tightly as he always did? I don’t even know where to start. Jeff was the one and only person I’ve ever loved. My husband and best friend, the most incredible father to our two beautiful children, Callee and Trace, and a man who would go to any lengths for the people he cared about most in the world. Anything. His presence was intimidating, and his love was just as intense. I got to be his wife because he decided to take a chance on me.
That is something I am going to remember for the rest of my life. If you are familiar with our history, then you have a good understanding of who we are. The amount of effort, commitment, and collaboration that went into building our life is reflected in its success. We worked together through everything, whether it was easy or challenging, whether things were good or bad. This is the aspect of our teamwork that makes me the most proud. Together, we were able to accomplish it without ever relinquishing our commitment to ourselves and to the people we love most in the world: our families.
In every aspect of his life, Jeff put in more effort than anyone else you could ever imagine working that hard. It was his mission in life to serve and assist people, and a fantastic friend once told me that Jeff didn’t try to solve things; rather, he assisted others in doing so. He was trustworthy and sincere. He was the center of our universe. Everything and anything and more. Mountain men are known for their sense of humor, compassion, and good looks. I could go on and on, but words will never be able to do justice to the man that he was. I am confident that each and every one of you who had the honor to know Jeff is aware of this fact. You already know what I’m talking about. You were shown by him.
