Jim Whitlock Obituary, American Legion Post 8 Member Has Passed Away

Jim Whitlock Obituary, Death –We would like to take this opportunity to extend our sincerest condolences to each and every one of you on the passing of Jim Whitlock, who was not only a close friend but also a part of our family and the most recent Commander. After a long and grueling battle against cancer, he has finally won, and he is now pain-free and sleeping in the company of angels. His fight against cancer has finally come to an end. We would like to express our deepest condolences to his wife Sharon, his children, and the rest of his family.

Our thoughts go out to Jim’s mother-in-law Mary Lou Lindsay, who was the immediate past president of the American Legion Auxiliary, as well as to our immediate past Commander Joe Lindsay, who was Jim’s father-in-law. Both of these individuals served in leadership roles in the American Legion Auxiliary.
He had to go through so many trials, tribulations, and hardships, but now God has promised him rest after everything that he has been through. May we never forget Jim’s service to our country during the Vietnam War.

as well as his continuous service in our American Legion Post 8 for such a long period of time, and may we always be appreciative for both of these things. We should be thankful that Jim continued to serve our American Legion Post 8 for such a long time, and may we never forget his contributions. His indefatigable work ethic, dark sense of humor, and contemplative soul will never be duplicated; he passed away much too soon. There will be a get-together in the fall to commemorate Jim’s life, and all of his ancestors and other relatives are cordially welcome to attend.
