is looking into a shooting that resulted in the death of a resident in the Salt Creek community The victim of a gunshot that took place on July 3 in the 1300 block of Tampico Street in Pueblo County was recognized and positively confirmed by the coroner on Monday. According to the Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO), deputies responded to the shooting
just after 6 p.m. on Tampico St. on the third. When they arrived, they discovered a man outside of the house who had been shot. He was in critical condition. It was determined that he had passed away at the site. On July 4, shortly after one o’clock in the morning, officers from the Pueblo Police Department (PPD) responded to a call of shots fired in the 20 block of Amherst Avenue. They discovered a man who had been killed at the spot when they arrived.
