Maya Angelou On July 1, 2023, a wonderful person who had been a part of our lives, Joyce Lukasiewich (née Krantz), passed away. However, even in her death, she draws us all closer together. Her daughters, Christina (Dan) Brown and Diane (Jim) Rowan,
remember their mother with fondness and express how much they miss her. The motivation, kind direction, and profound knowledge that she imparted to her granddaughters Ava, Konner, and Graydyn will indelibly mark the very essence of who they are. She is survived by her two sisters, Ellen Lupick and Margaret (Dave) Klappstein, along with a large number of nieces and nephews, all of whom will bear the burden of her absence. William, the man she considered to be her true love and spouse, passed away before she did.
Joyce had a fantastic path through life that was defined by struggle, endless hurdles, and multiple victories that were frequently unheard about. Joyce overcame all of these obstacles and had a successful life. We are in awe of her ability to navigate the waters of life with a kind spirit and a generous heart. All of us who are left behind will always remember and love her tenacity, wit, empathy and kindness, altruism, and loving soul. She has left us all.
