throughout our lives. ‘My beautiful grandmother, Noreen Collyer, who had been a member of Sweet Adelines International and a barbershop singer for more than three decades, passed away recently. I am deeply saddened to announce her departure. Noreen was a member of the RMT at Region 31 when it was still known as Region 31, and she was even active in the management of the organization in the UK before it became Region 31 in 1999. Noreen served in a variety of capacities throughout the course of time, including that of secretary, coordinator of convention
organization, and communications and technology coordinator. She frequently collaborated with Sheila Doherty in these capacities. She used to be in charge of compiling and sending out the regional directory, which was a paper copy back in those days. In addition, she contributed in some way to the development of the very first Region 31 website. She was instrumental in getting this amazing region off the ground by recruiting some of the familiar personalities that can be seen in the Region 31 faculty today.
