Oakland Shooting Today: A gunshot incident took occurred on Wednesday afternoon close to the UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital in Oakland, according to reports. When a doctor who was working at the hospital reported to KTVU that they had heard gunshots outside, it was approximately 3:30 in the afternoon. The physician only agreed to speak on the condition that they remain anonymous in order to protect their employment.
They further reported that a code silver alert was issued in the aftermath of the purported occurrence, and that everyone was instructed to remain inside their homes. At least one patient who had been shot was brought to Children’s Hospital for treatment, according to the information that was provided by the attending physician. The doctor has a strong hunch that the gunshot that supposedly took place outside is connected to the victim in some manner, and he believes this to be the case because the patient was shot.
The Oakland police have not confirmed that a gunshot was fired outside of the hospital, although it is possible that it did happen. SkyFOX, on the other hand, was able to get aerial footage that showed police enforcement officers conducting a search in the neighborhood of Children’s Hospital, more specifically in the area surrounding 47th Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Way. In addition, the camera displayed several evidence markers strewn about on the ground in close proximity to a gray automobile that was present at the scene.
