Peter Kowalsky Obituary, Member Of Metalcore And Hardcore Vocalist Band Has Passed Away

Peter Kowalsky Obituary, Death – Peter “Mean Pete” Kowalsky, the prolific vocalist for metalcore and hardcore bands including Remembering Never, Until the End, xBISHOPx, and Ether Coven, has passed away. Kowalsky was known as the “Mean Pete.” Ether Coven and Remembering Never are two of the bands that he has been a part of in the past.

Early in the year 2020, Kowalsky was informed that he had colon cancer in the stage 3 advanced stage. Since that point in time, he had been engaged in the fight against the disease by enduring a wide range of treatments, including as surgery, chemotherapy, and various other procedures. During a period of remission, he even played on stage at the Furnace Fest in Birmingham, Alabama in 2021, joining Shai Hulud on the song “For the World.” He was able to do this since the cancer had gone into remission.

In the midst of all of this, his cancer went into remission. Unfortunately, things moved from bad to worse very rapidly, and the aggressive cancer returned after a little respite from its symptoms. As news of Kowalsky’s demise circulated throughout the music world, members of Hatebreed, Unearth, Zao, and Terminal Nation, amongst others, recalled him with fondness and paid tribute to his life and career in the industry.
