Shanequa Beaver Obituary, Death – Because the news seemed so unreal when I first heard it, it took me a little while to compose this post. Shanequa, who is not only my best friend but also my sister, texted me to tell me that her mother had passed away.
It seemed inconceivable, especially coming from Ms. Kat. See getting to know her meant falling in love with her, and this was the case even while she was cursing me and Neek out. Momma Kat was aware that even though she would not see any of us until the next day, despite our assurances that we would return immediately, she knew we were only a few steps away. My sister is going through it, and I feel terrible that I couldn’t be there for her to share in the experience of knowing that she is getting her final rest and knowing the love they had.
Nevertheless, we already have preparations for when she is able to participate in the activities. Sister, I realize that words and actions cannot fill the gap that you are experiencing, but please know that I am praying that God provides you with the necessary support and direction. I will always adore you and the ladies, and as soon as you let me know that you are prepared to go, I will have your ticket waiting for you.
