Steven Tucker Obituary, Death – Steven “Tuck” Tucker, a member of our family, a friend, and a fellow club member, passed away in a horrible accident, and we are forced to break the news to you with the greatest possible amount of sadness. On July 8, 2023, around 7:25 o’clock in the evening, Tuck’s life was abruptly cut short for what appears to be no discernible reason. Tuck was off-duty and riding his motorcycle in an outlying region of Lincoln County when he was involved in a head-on collision with a drunk driver heading in the opposite direction. The driver was traveling in the opposite direction when they crossed the center line.
After about 40 years of service to his country, Tuck finally decided to retire from the United States Army and devote the rest of his life to selflessly serving the people in his hometown. Tuck has continued his career in public service in the state of Missouri by working as a police officer for Wright City, holding the position of chief for the city of Berger, and most recently becoming a deputy with the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department.
We ask that you remember his wife Donna, his family, this chapter, and his friends in your prayers as we deal through the aftermath of this unexpected and abrupt loss. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we move on. I am grateful. We would like to take this opportunity to extend our heartfelt appreciation to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office Team LCSO, the Troy Missouri Police Department, and the Missouri State Highway Patrol for their prompt response and professional demeanor throughout the initial response, investigation, and ongoing support in the days to come.
