Surfer Jones Obituary, 44 Year Old Man Dies After Severing An Artery While Riding Waves In Indonesia

Surfer Jones Obituary, Death – A catastrophic accident sustained while surfing in Indonesia has claimed the life of Hawaiian surfer Mikala Jones. Jones, 44, apparently severed a femoral artery while surfing off the shore of the Mentawai Islands and later died from blood loss. Although the circumstances of his death remain unknown, several legendary surfers have paid respect to Jones. Isabella Jones, Jones’s daughter, posted several heartfelt images of her and her father and wrote that her ‘dad got into a horrific surfing accident and didn’t make it. She continued, “I’m in so much disbelief right now, this doesn’t feel real,” but she was “happy he was doing what he loved the most.”

Also, Ms. Jones expressed her desire to give her father one final hug by saying, “I love you so much.” I hope you know how much you mean to me and how much I appreciate everything you do as a father. I really miss having you around; you weren’t supposed to depart quite yet. It’s too soon for this. She went on, “Without you, nothing is the same.” I wish we could spend just one more moment together, arguing and then laughing our asses off, because I miss you so terribly. I appreciate all the wisdom you’ve shared with me and your unwavering support. I really miss you and wish you were here with us now. I’ll never stop remembering you, dad.

According to Stab, a surf magazine, Jones was born and reared on Rock Point in Hawaii, but he relocated to Bali in the early 2000s. He was well-known in the surfing community for his dedication to protecting hitherto uncharted surf spots throughout the world. Jones was also well-known for the stunning film he captured with a GoPro, which he used to document his weaving beneath the overhangs of waves all around the world. Throughout his career, surfing publications and journals regularly featured stills from his film on their covers.
