Terry Martin Obituary, Death – The police have identified both the perpetrators and the victim in the fatal shooting that took place in Moraine late on Sunday night. The shooting left one person dead. The victim who was shot and killed in the 2700 block of Gladstone Street was identified as 19-year-old Terry Martin, who was from the town of Moraine, according to the Deputy Chief Jason Neubauer who investigated the crime scene.
After receiving information that a gunshot had taken place at a residence located on Gladstone Street at approximately 11:30 p.m., the police were called and responded to the location. Martin was found by the cops that responded to have three gunshot wounds when they examined him. It was discovered that he had died at the location where he was found.
According to the police, five of the ten shots that were fired at the house hit the front door. In total, there were ten shots fired at the property. According to Neubauer, Martin’s grandmother was in the house at the time of the shooting, and she had a great deal of good fortune not to have been hit by bullets because she was standing so close to the door when the shots were fired. Moreover, Neubauer claims that Martin’s grandfather was outside the house when the shooting occurred.
With the assistance of witnesses, the law enforcement officials were able to identify one of the suspects. An investigation was able to help determine and identify a second suspect, which was a significant contribution. According to Neubauer, Collin Merelo, age 18, and Eric Ball, age 19, both of Kettering, were identified as the two individuals arrested in connection with the incident. Merelo and Ball both attended Kettering High School. Both of the individuals were taken into custody at the same time.
