TerryAnn Marion Obituary, Death – We regret to inform you of the demise of TerryAnn “Auntie” Marion, 58, a valued family member, on July 8, 2023. She passed away from breast cancer, stage four (4), eight and a half years after her diagnosis. Her determination to live had carried her through several medical procedures. Her upbeat demeanor and lack of grumbling were constant. TerryAnn Marion was born on September 29, 1964, in Dorothy, New Jersey to John (now deceased) and Marie (Seelman) Marion. Jami Marie Marion, her nephew Joseph Peter Gullo, and her nephews John Michael Marion Jr. and John Michael Marion Sr. are among many who will miss her dearly. TerryAnn earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business with an emphasis in accounting from Richard Stockton College in 1986.
After finishing college and passing the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam, she started her job with Yeutter & Swartz in Mays Landing, New Jersey. She became a partner in the Ocean City, New Jersey law firm of Ford, Scott & Associates, LLC. when she incorporated her business there. She joined the “American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA)”, “New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants”, and “Member of the Personal Financial Planning (PFP) section of the AICPA” during the course of her professional life. TerryAnn was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need, and she did so by giving her time and expertise to a wide range of community groups. Before her death, she had spent thirty-seven (37) productive years working in her field.
She was well-known for providing the answers her clients needed to solve their most pressing and difficult accounting problems. Since 1989, she has been performing audits for government agencies, NGOs, and pension funds. Preparing and reviewing tax returns for individuals, estates, trusts, condominium associations, foundations, businesses, retirement plans, and charitable organizations were also among her areas of expertise. Forecasts, valuations, and compilations, reviews, and audits for commercial clients were among popular services that TerryAnn provided. She was a symbol of the company’s determination to be a leader in the auditing industry.
TerryAnn’s job was deeply ingrained in who she was; she took tremendous satisfaction in her accomplishments and worked tirelessly to ensure their success. The folks she worked with were more than just coworkers to her; they were friends. Some of her regular customers are probably the same way. She loved her job, but nothing more than she loved being around her loved ones. TerryAnn was a reserved person who could be social when the situation called for it. She resided in Dorothy, New Jersey, and spent a lot of time taking care of her mother. She and her mother and brother frequently took trips together.
She adored taking her cherished niece and nephew on impromptu trips of all kinds. She was extremely charitable, and her kindness to acquaintances and complete strangers alike was legendary. She had a deep appreciation for nature, hence she was a member of and generous donor to several animal welfare groups. During the summer, she and her family would visit her holiday home in Northern Maine, where they would spend time playing badminton, barbecuing, and lounging on the porch. TerryAnn’s funeral will be held in privacy.
