William Middleton Obituary, Death – The Warren County Coroner’s Office has announced that the human remains that were discovered in Franklin on Sunday have been identified. The remains were located in a parking lot. A local of Franklin was the one to discover the skeletal remains. The remains were identified as William Middleton, 37, who is from the Franklin area. Middleton was apparently not seen or heard from again until the 21st of June in Franklin, which is the day he was reported missing on that day.
Prior to that time, neither Middleton nor anyone else in the area had reported seeing or hearing from Middleton. According to the information provided by the Franklin Division of Police, this was the last time anyone saw or heard from him. After discovering what appear to be human remains in Franklin on Sunday evening, an inquiry has been initiated. Volunteers from the Midwest branch of TexasEquuSearch were in the city of Franklin on the day of the missing person search looking for a local resident, as stated in a press statement that was distributed by the Franklin Police Department.
They contacted the Franklin Police Division at approximately 5:30 p.m. to report their finding after utilizing their aerial drone to detect what they believed to be human remains on a tiny island that is located to the north of the Lions Bridge. The island is located in the Franklin River. Both the police and fire departments promptly sent their emergency personnel to the spot and as they arrived, they launched their rescue boats.
According to the information provided by the local police division, once it was determined that the bones belonged to an adult, the investigators started processing the surrounding area. The presence of the Warren County Coroner at the scene came not long after the arrival of the police at the scene. According to the police division, the remains will be moved to the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office so that they can undergo additional testing and identification there.
