Zachary king Obituary, Death –On Saturday, September 3, 2022, at the age of 70, a resident of Blountstown, Florida entered into eternal life at home. Zach was born in Atlanta, Georgia on September 26, 1951. His parents, the late James Lester King and Mary Ann King, were his paternal grandparents. Zach graduated at the top of his class, earning the title of Valedictorian. Before being drafted into the military, he continued his schooling by studying Business Administration for a year. Zach was a veteran of both the Korean War and the Vietnam War, having served in the United States Army.
After 15 years of service as a groundskeeper for the City of Gainesville, Zach finally decided to call it quits and retire. He spent several years assisting his father in the construction of new homes. Zach was a follower of Jesus Christ who had been baptized and was a part of the CRMC Church that was located in Bristol, Florida. Zach felt that being an ordained minister was the pinnacle of his career and represented his most significant accomplishment. He was very passionate about sharing his faith in Jesus with others. His love and his faith served as a source of motivation and encouragement for others around him.
Zach was constantly kind, helpful, joking, and laughing. He had an electric energy for life, and he moved incredibly quickly in all that he did. He never failed to crack a smile and managed to make everyone around him chuckle. He never stopped talking about his life, including how he used to ride his motorcycle, build cars, and race them, as well as how he helped his father build houses. His cowboy hat, western clothing, and boots were some of his favorite things to wear. He referred to you as “Momma” if he knew you and cared for you. If he was giving you a hug, it was really intense because of the way he wrapped his arms around you, and it always came at the most inopportune time, but he knew you were in need of it.
